Call Waiting

While engaged in a call:

  • The Call Waiting tone indicates another call to your line
  • Press flash-hook button once lightly to switch to the incoming call. First call is automatically held.
  • Press flash-hook once lightly again to switch to the held call
  • You can toggle between calls. You cannot receive additional calls while both lines are engaged.

Cancel Call Waiting

  • Lift telephone handset. Dial *70
  • The Call Waiting service is turned off so that you can make an uninterrupted phone call. The Call Waiting service will be back on after the next outgoing phone call.

Three Way Calling

While engaged in one call:

  • Press the flash-hook button once lightly. The initial call is held.
  • Enter the complete phone number or extension of third party. You can press # to signal the end of the phone number or extension.
  • When the call is connected, press flash-hook button lightly again. All parties are connected in a three-way call.
  • To drop the add-on party, press the flash-hook button lightly again.

NOTE: If either of the two other parties hangs up, your call with the remaining party is intact. If you hang up, other parties remain connected.

 

Last Number Redial

  • Lift telephone handset. Press redial button on handset, or dial *66
  • The last called telephone number is re-dialed

Speed Call 8 Assignment

  • Lift telephone handset. Dial *74
  • When you hear dial-tone enter the speed-call digit code (2 to 9) you want to assign and the phone number you want it to dial followed by hash (#) e.g. 2021555555# would dial 021555555 when ’2#’ is dialed
  • Replace telephone handset. Speed dial has been set. You can set up to 8 speed dials.

Speed Call 8 Dialling

  • Lift telephone handset
  • Press a pre-feature key, or assigned code (2 to 9) followed by hash (#) e.g. 2# would dial 021555555 (if assigned as per example above

Call Forwarding Always - Activate

  • Lift telephone handset. Dial *72
  • Enter phone number to which calls will be forwarded
  • Replace telephone handset. The Call Forwarding Always service is on

Call Forwarding Always - Deactivate

  • Lift telephone handset. Dial *73
  • Replace telephone handset. The Call Forwarding Always service is off

Call Forwarding on Busy - Activate

  • Lift telephone handset. Dial *90
  • Enter phone number to forward calls when you are on the phone
  • Replace telephone handset. The Call Forwarding Busy service is on

Call Forwarding on Busy - Deactivate

  • Lift telephone handset. Dial *91
  • Replace telephone handset. The Call Forwarding Busy service is off

Call Forwarding No Answer - Activate

  • Lift telephone handset. Dial *92
  • Enter phone number to forward calls when you do not answer the phone
  • Replace telephone handset. The Call Forwarding No Answer service is on

Call Forwarding No Answer - Deactivate

  • Lift telephone handset. Dial *93
  • Replace telephone handset. The Call Forwarding No Answer service is off

Calling Line ID Delivery Blocking

  • Lift telephone handset. Dial *67
  • Dial the intended phone number
  • The call is placed, and your telephone is not displayed

Calling Line ID Delivery Per-Call

  • Lift telephone handset. Dial *65
  • Dial the intended phone number
  • The call is placed, and your telephone number is displayed

Voice Messages

  • Dial 09 916 3831 to access messaging platform
  • Then enter your messaging number at the prompt (please note this is not your main telephone number)
  • Then enter your pin number at the prompt and the hash (#) key

NOTE: Your pin number is the last 4 digits of your messaging number
For example: if your messaging number is 09 999 9999,

  • Dial 09 916 3831 to access voicemail platform
  • Then enter your telephone number at the prompt , excluding the first 0 of the area code.
  • Then enter your pin number at the prompt and the hash key

To Change Messaging Greeting

  • Dial 09 916 3831 to access voicemail platform
  • Then enter your messaging number at the prompt
  • Enter pin number 9999# at prompt
  • At main menu press key number 5
  • At prompt press key number 1
  • Follow prompts to record new greeting

To Change Messaging PIN Number

  • Dial 09 916 3831 to access messaging platform
  • Then enter your messaging number at the prompt
  • Enter pin number 9999# at prompt
  • At main menu press key number 5
  • At prompt press key number 3
  • Enter new messaging pin number

NOTE: You can programme one of your speed dials with the messaging platform number (see Speed Dial 8 above).
