ADSL Internet Setup Guide

For Internet connection in the following apartment buildings: The Statesman

Follow these easy steps to connect your PC to your Internet connection or download the ADSL User Guide in PDF format.

 

Connection

  • This is an ADSL service for which you need an ADSL modem or router.
  • Your modem/router should also come with a filter/splitter.
  • Plug the filter/splitter into the wall jack point.
  • Plug your modem/router into the Internet side of the filter/splitter.
  • Connect your computer to the modem/router using the patch lead supplied.
  • Make sure the modem/router is connected to power.
  • Most modem/routers have a Wizard to help you set up your connection.
  • When asked: The country is "New Zealand"
  • When asked: The ISP is "PPoE"
  • Your username will be "xxxxxx@fish.co.nz"
  • Your password and username will be given to you in your welcome letter.

 

Your Internet Connection should now be working.
